Madison Homes of Western Carolina, Inc. has been in business since 1999.  M. Eric Freeman, who has 17 years of experience in construction practices, holds the Presidency of the company.  Madison Homes is a Sub Chapter S Corporation, and its main function is to build high-tech "systems built" homes in Western North Carolina.  Madison Homes uses state of the art building technology and modern managerial practices known as 'panelized' construction.  This is a more cost efficient way of building than stick built, with additional flexibility in home designs than that of modular homes.  Panelized homes have great growth potential because the home packages are purchased directly from the panelized home manufacturer, with volume purchasing discounts passed on to the customer, along with the service provided to satellite builders from the parent company.  Also, time plays a large factor in the pricing of a prospective buyers home plan.  The manufacturer will give a custom quote back to their builder network within minutes, which allows the process to begin in an expedient manner.  Panelized homes are also much faster to complete than the competitive site-built, and are also comparable time wise to that of modular's.
